The right product still needs the right installation plan.
Replacing a fixture in place and moving its connections are different jobs. Product specifications, the existing plumbing, and available space help define what the installation requires.
- Replacing a fixture
- Share the current fixture and the new model so compatibility and the intended scope can be discussed.
- A different arrangement
- Explain any change to position, connections, or surrounding finishes before treating the job as a simple replacement.
Send the product specifications.
Provide the model number, specification sheet, installation instructions, and photos of the existing setup. Confirm the fixture type and components needed for the job.
High-end fixtures can require product-specific parts and finish considerations. Check which accessories are included before ordering.
Customer-supplied fixtures.
Let us know whether you are supplying the product. Share its details and identify missing or damaged parts before arranging installation.
Customer-supplied fixtures are listed in Kramer’s warranty exclusions. Ask how this affects your installation and which product or labor coverage applies.
Removal, connections, and finishes.
Confirm what is being installed, what happens to the old fixture, and whether work to nearby surfaces or finishes is included. Agree on the price and written warranty before the visit.
Share access restrictions and any timing dependencies with other work. We take care of the property and include cleanup of the work area in our approach.
Before you call.
- Fixture type, exact model, and specification or installation documents.
- A description of the existing setup and any changes you want.
